Hawaiian International Airlines Rules and Regulations for Pilots

Dear Fellow Pilots:

Below are rules and regulations for being a pilot with Hawaiian International Airlines.

The purpose of being a pilot for Hawaiian International Airlines is to provide a enjoyable flight simulator experience to you. In order for the efficient running of the airline and to avoid miscommunication, a few basic rules have been set up for your kind observation. These have been divided by sections.

NEW Pilots

1. New Pilots are assigned flights for a period of 1-3 months as decided by the CEO of the airline. At the end of this period, if the new pilot has performed to the standards for the airline, he/she will be allowed to bid for future flights.

2. Pilots need to choose a home base. It can be anywhere we fly. From there you can bid and fly anywhere we fly but no jumping. So if you want to fly London-Paris, you need to get there first. Let me know where you want your home base to be please.

Regular Pilots

1. Once off probation, pilots are free to fly their flights in Hawaiian International Airlines from the selection of flights available HERE.

2. Flight reports are to be posted HERE. Flight reports are to be done only after completion of all the segments. He/she are encouraged to complete all the assignments.

3. Minimum flights for our pilots are 1 per month.  YOU MUST FLY 1 FLIGHT/month TO STAY ACTIVE IN THE AIRLINE EXCEPT AS MENTIONED IN RULE #6 BELOW. We close to the airline to new applicants as we get close to 20 people. Dimissing inactive pilots is done so others can join. Please do not join if you are not interested in becoming an active pilot.

4. Failure to not fly for a maximum of two months without a valid reason will result in close to immediate removal from the airline. We know that people have other obligations. Notifying the CEO of your intentions will remove any problems. If you know that for some reason you will not be able to fly during a period of time, please let me know. I don't like chasing people. It wastes my time and is not efficient to you and me.

If you think these rules are stiff feel free to visit some other VA and look at their rules.  You will be surprised. I strictly enforce these rules with an open mind for the benefit of our active pilots. Join the other airlines if you like them more.

5. Enjoy your experience with us.

6. We look forward to having you as a pilot.

Mahalo for your participation.
