HI 01 Honolulu Hilo B-757 40 min 227 NM. IFR flight along airway V15-22, FL250, some zig-zig over Maui for an error reading the chart. ATC-guided approach and ILS landing on rwy 26.
HI 32 Honolulu Kahului B-757 23 min 101 NM. X-Plane today doesn't want to load the planes in the "heavy metal" folder. So I used the B-757 again, airway V2-21 and FL 110. I noted that I have a recurrent error, that of arriving too low on the runways, so I equipped all my planes with "HUD and hoops" and now I land with this aid. The training seems to be working. Great sim!

HI 71 Honolulu Lanai ATR-42 22 min 84 NM.
HI 82 Honolulu Lihue B737 21 min 101 NM. First flight with X-Plane 5.1
HI 190 Lihue island of Niihau overflight Lihue Dash-8 31 min 113 NM. Take off from runway 21, directo to Barking sands, then circle around Niihau, back to South Kauai VOR on airway V16, then V15 and VFR landing on runway 03. First flight with new 32MB video card. Impressive safety and precision of flight with HUD with hoops and step-ladder. I am starting to appreciate version 5.1
HI 100 Kona Waimea Hilo Global Express 31 min 121 NM. This was the first flight after ten days grounded, because X-Plane refused to operate on my system. At least I asked Austin, who adviced me to download the new ATI128 drivers, and X-Plane was alive again. This "first" flight was rich of happenings, like discovering I turned one engine off, and left the autopilot to maintain 250KIAS while landing! But I was able to correct this and land safely again.

HI 711 Tahiti Bora Bora Cessna Conquest 37 min 142 NM. First flight with X-Plane ver 5.11b: everythng is working fine now. I did'n had time to check the ATR and had few passengers, so used a lighter twin-turboprop.
HI 721 Bora Bora Raiatea Huahine ATR-42 18 min 53 NM.
HI 724 Tahaa Bora Bora Twin otter 13 min 35 NM. Take off from the sea in Hanamee bay, overfly Tahaa circle around Bora Bora for sightseeing before landing in the lagoon. Great. Older planes like this one perform wel in ver 5.11b
HI 728 Rangiroa Bora Bora ATR-42 1 hour 255 NM
HI 730 Mataiva Tikehau Rangiroa Tahiti Dash-8 1 hour 20 in 296 NM. Fascinating flight form the remote Tuamoti atolls to Thaiti. The 100 series of the Dash-8 performs well, comparable to the ATR-42 and its field performance is adeguate for sefe take-off and landign on Mataiva and Tikehau.

Total flights: 14; legs: 20
Problems: BIG problems in the transition to ver 5.10 and 5.11b, and in the same time formatting my HD and acquiring a new 32MB video card. I was grounded for 2 weeks! Now everything is solved, with some help from Austin (video drivers), XP 5.11b is very good and with the new card I have unlimited frame rate and visibility. Also, the flight is not stopping anymore when ATC is speaking, so I can fly regular flight-plans.
